Controlled supply is electricity that is controlled by the electricity company themselves. Normally your hot water is on this tariff. When power is in peak demand (like 5pm-8pm) this controlled supply of electricity is no accessible. So your hot water will not be heating up etc. Thus this is why it is normally cheaper than the other tariffs.
I think for memory the controlled supply has a minimum 20hrs per day "on time".
Going by all your tariffs, are you on a smart meter? Otherwise how do they know the difference between power consumed during the day than the night?
