First few weeks could mean 14th to 18th as well.
I had a lovers quarrel about this a year back where on a date I was told I could eat a few of her dumpling, which I did; a solid 3 dumplings. This left her quite upset as she was thinking along the lines of one or two, which I explained is not a few but 'a dumpling' or 'a couple'.
