Perspective in regards to Olaroz - the township of Volcan is approx 140km from Olaroz as the crow flies and at 2000m lower elevation. A very different climate
I'm not seeing anything for recent rainfall at Olaroz but the weather forecast at Olaroz Chico is showing nothing unusual. In any event, a heavy rainfall event would not be expected to have much impact at Olaroz - the brine resource is at considerable depth and a few mm of rain in the ponds is of no consequence.
