Some of the major applications for lithium are not even competing against the price of oil. Large battery home energy storage and batteries for hand held devices/appliances are two examples. Sure automotive batteries are competing against the price of oil but I don't think the price of the fuel (oil vs electricity) is the main dynamic in that relationship anyway. I've been waiting a long time to buy ORE and recently jumped on board. I think there is still downside risk but will buy more if it goes under $2.
