Dub,in my humble opinion there is and was a compelling reason to "bury" Bin Laden at sea.What America and the rest of the western world didn't need was for photos of his corpse to be flashed around the world or his funeral and or grave to become media events for fundamentalist Muslims. The "quick burial" also alieviated offending the Muslim world by making sure he was seen to be "buried" within 24hours as per Islamic practice
