It is hardly breaking news. There are many that are forecasting US$70 +/bbl, however, regardless of that , the other half of the story is what the A $ does, and all forecasts that I have seen are predicting a fall with some saying sub 70 cents.
It is likely that OPEC/Russia will take stronger measures if necessary to hold the price above US$50/bbl and possibly drive it higher.
In the overall wash-up BRU's oil production should still be quite profitable , as I think Eric will explain on Wednesday.
