OK - While any newspaper report must be read with an abundance of "is this really true" and "what are they not telling us", it would appear that OSH are not being professional in this offer. Whether WPL holders agree or not with the offer by WPL, from a governance point of view, OSH should have at least engaged with WPL - heard the rationale for the offer and then accepted or rejected the bid.
I must admit - it seems unprofessional by OSH and almost childish.
I must also admit that I have become cooler on this proposal as the days have rolled on. I would be disappointed if WPL increased the offer - it would just continue to destroy shareholder value.
