I found some grades and quantities for some of the more established deposits/mines in Burkina Faso. I was unable to find any gold deposits in Burkina Faso that are remotely close. All of the mines/deposits I was able to locate have grades that are comparatively small (min = 0.81g/t max = 2.81 g/t). Total ounces are only high when the deposits are large.

Endeavour Mining’s Youga (1.55m oz) deposit has reserves of 362,000 oz with an average grade of 2.5 g/t Au. The remainder of the deposit is resources.

Volta Resources Kiaka (4.28m oz)deposit has Measured and Indicated resources of 3,018,000 oz @ 1.04 g/t Au and Inferred resources of 1,260,000oz @ 1.00 g/t Au

Orezone’s Bombore (3.36m oz) deposit has Measured & Indicated resources of 1,589,000oz @ 0.81 g/t Au and Inferred resources of 1,873,000oz @ 0.96 g/t Au

Higher River Gold’s (2.8m oz) Bissa deposit has Measured & Indicated resources of 926,000oz @ 1.81 g/t Au and Inferred resources of 799,000oz @ 1.40 g/t Au

Higher River Gold’s Taparko-Bouroum (1.7m oz) deposit has Proven & Probable Reserves of 720,000oz @ 2.81 g/t Au and Measured & Indicated resources of 890,100oz @ 2.81 g /t Au and Inferred resources of 91,800oz @ 2.85 g/t Au

Iamgold's Essakane (6.1 M oz) deposit has Probable Reserves of 4,015,000oz @ 1.3 g/t Au. The remainder of the deposit is resources.
