I can't agree raider. The GBE board will make a decision, don't know how many directors and can't be bothered to check, but say 4-3 for example. The GBE decision would then be whatever the 4 were voting for. So then anything with the Malawi govt would be 15% v 85%. The dissenting directors couldn't look for support from the Malawis, that would be sooooo unprofessional.

I suspect that the Malawi govt 15% is for profits, not decision making. If the Malawis don't like decisions being made or more likely, tenements not being explored/developed, they can always not renew licences, revoke licences etc. Can't imagine them getting involved in the middle of internal company disagreements.

So at the end of the day, ECE has control, but surely they'd have to progess projects or lose licenses.
