hi boggieman, welcome aboard. There are other forums out there but you will find them pretty "clicky" and only talk about the stocks running hot at the time or continually about the same stocks...also none have anywhere the traffic or userbase that HC has for ASX stocks.

HC been around way way longer than all the others. Thinking about it...all its competitors from the 1999-2000 tech boom era when there were many many forums...they are all gone now i think...

Share Scene is probably the popular alternative at the moment but only if you want to talk about PEP, HDR, CMQ, VCR, PSD, MST, EPT, OXR, CST, SPB or the hot stocks of the day. I, like prob most here visit it now and them but I find it very boring. At least at HC you can sometimes find it hard to keep up with the posts.

and there are a multitude of charactors...both good and bad...and no I don't work for HC..just a long time reader who enjoys and has benefited greatly from the site.
