    Yep as suspected Labor has found another way to stick it into the transport industry and sneak a new source of revenue in. As of July 1st 2012 the Fuel Excise on diesel fuel goes up by 2.5c per litre.
    Therefore every trucking company will pay more for their fuel...the fuel rebate will remain the same at 15.4c per litre until July 2014 when it will reduce to 9.4c per litre. This is combined with increases in registration costs of course!

    So expect your pack of Weeties to go up on the supermarket shelf as there is no more fat left in the bank for any one to absorb this increase. The 1st Fleet closure is just a sample of things to come!
