I agree its not an ideal time to liquidate but from what I understand the DOF exposure is just an unlisted fund and would be trading at NTA. This would of course put the DOF manager under pressure and they may freeze the fund (if it is not already frozen).
As a unitholder I see the biggest threat as further institutional placements at sizeable discounts to market.
This firstly dilutes existing holders. Then the instos dump them on market to lock in their profit. The next raising will then be a lower prices with even larger discounts and will be further dilutionary.
The Reit's who do this will continue to operate successfully and management will retain their jobs however the existing owners will have any real value stripped away and given to new owners.
