I've done a bit more research on this. In the link below you will find a detailed brief on the Tarfaya block. There is more than just the TAO-1 well in the plan. It also includes La Dam and Zeus and Little Zeus are shown as additional exploration areas. I have been through the RNS announcements and can find no details on follow on wells but in the link below there is a calendar schematic showing an aspiration for more exploration. Clearly, however, Galp have only agreed to the one well so if Tangier want to fund La Dam for example they will need another CR or further farm out. What I am trying to say is that IMO a duster at TAO-1 is not the end of the story although I accept that the sp drop will probably be grim. I doubt it will be easy to sell on the day so I intend to hold and try and salvage something from the wreckage. I recommend the link for additional technical detail on the current play.
