I must add that the best lesson from all this is unless one has enough capital to acquire enough votes to control the direction of the company, and/or to hire an army of lawyers to protect one's interests (Bronte), and/or have the experience or good judgement to read between the lines, their investment in BBI was at best a calculated gamble.

I think, if you're more competent than BBI management, a private business or even a day-job may be your best investment.
