I forgot to mention.
When the share option spread widens to 14 cents plus, the simple strategy is as follows:

If you own shares, sell some shares and purchase same quantity of options & exercise them.

For example you could have sold shares @23 & replaced them by buying options @ 7 & paying 14 cents for the exercise, thus making 2 cents per share.

Just make sure that the volume of oppies are there !
