    CXC and BHP.
BHP is the biggest (or close to the biggest) silver miner in world but they dont see it as a major deal atm - they get it as a by-product of exploration for other metals like copper.
CXC - an American-based company listed on Canada and US markets. Only has a small number of shares here in Oz but rank equally with o/seas shareholders. It has just brought into production two of the world's largest pure silver mines.
Those two are much bigger than CCU, and producing. Hard to compare as CCU has no mine yet and still has upside to their resource estimate. Not sure on junior miners in sector but researching the bigger players could provide a guide on how much it costs to produce and how much you need to turn a profit at current prices.

Good luck with CCU. Silver fundamentals look good IMO but havent done much research into CCU.
    Disclosure: I hold CXC.
