OK. I see little in the way of short term deals being a showcase for the full potential of what TV2U have in their OTT architecture. They seem to be announcing pieces of their offering but as yet no deals with and overall OTT solution to market adopted by a sizeable brand customer employing the suite of unique TV2U points of difference. Divan for instance already have a powerful OTT platform themselves.

I am negative as I find they make promising announcements but use silence when those deals do no occur at all or within reasonable timeframes. Hence I do not trust their communications and give my opinions on such matters.

TV2U is a broadcaster offering a B2B platform and that is where it needs to focus. There is a realisation in the market that traditional apps do not deliver the user experience or deep analytics that an OTT platform streaming to a wide base of different end user devices can reach and satisfy and maintain a session across as users move around and change devices in a short time frame. That is the business model to me they have to target, sell to and deliver to.

In the LONGER TERM as I have always said IMO they should land a deal with a big brand client that monetises the company and gains it credibility in the market. If they do not land a big client by mid 2017 I foresee they will run down their cash but also new OTT competitors in the market will start to catch up with them and their early entrant advantage will not have yielded a commercialised outcome. They might not survive if they end up in that position.

I hold for the longer term but I know alot of traders are day traders and short termers who jump in and get exposed and take on risk by simply trusting what is announced and also by what is said via company connected posters to this forum. I challenge and I get challenged around this but that is democracy at work.

The short termers have had to ride the big up and the big down that has occurred, and there has been winners and losers in that ride whereas long termers get curious but are not planning to sell so are largely unaffected with the volatility. However tech stocks such as this require some degree of industry and tech understanding to make informed decisions around and I contribute to the debate where relevant.

Its a rapidly changing industry with the big tech companies driving change via standardisation and hence the recent reference to CENC etc as this can affect current industry companies who get forced to change their architecture and software to comply. Most other forums I watch have alot of technical based posters but this one not so much which is not ideal in my opinion as relevant industry issues may go unnoticed.
