Starbucks had a link with special offers and I was thinking it would be beneficial for a fast food Franchises like Dominos, to be able to target customers when they were hungary. TXT messages, every one reads as they come in, where emails/junk mail are not as urgent. And as you pointed out could be cross country /world dependent and deliveries timed to different time zones, and (VIP) customers targeted to maximise profit. This is as I understand was TATAs approach for its yellow page customers as I could understand from an earlier TATA white page report. The more you think about it for advertisers who now just advertise and hope they hit their target audience, the future could be as targeted as a sniper, and the end of the expensive mail type catalogue/flyer as we know it, due to slow response times. and slow advertising analysis of a campaign.
