In the US on the weekend AT&T struck a deal to buy Time Warner for a tad over $110bn.
I wonder what the chances are of Telstra buying out NEC. One offers the streaming ability while the other provides the content. TLS has got more than enough to make a cash offer for NEC, especially at todays prices. They already hold a good part of Foxtel so moving further into the media side of things isn't too far fetched.
Good rumor to start anyway, might get a few more institutions interested in NEC.
