So if a person had $50,000 in savings (plus all the stamp duties etc... before CBA move (and providing they had the income to support the mortgage) they were in the market for a $1 million property at 95% lend... Borrow $950,000 (5% deposit) at 10% deposit, or 90% lend they can now look for a property around $500,000
