smccarthy, I realise that only a few took up the SPP besides the directors. I also realise that almost half the shareholders hold less than a marketable parcel ($500) and would be very reluctant to throw $8k more at MWR, in fact I think you will find when next top 20 is released the SPP got good support from top 20
Some 16.5m shares traded at less than the $0.0085 SPP. I for one bought my lot at market for a cheaper price, it's a good guess that others did the same.
As for Directors "putting their money were there mouths are", we will have to also wait for the next top 20. I don't think Mark would have lied about that.
As for "rhetoric we have been hearing for years" I see MWR now and in the future as a very different company as opposed to the early naughties and the GFC.
