What would improve millions of Australian lives would be if our politicians would stop stealing from us and manage their portfolios in the proper manner to achieve outcomes that are required by the Australian public. Adding a new tax is not what Australians need or want to prop up administrations that are being mismanaged.
Inheritance tax when it was in before, broke up families especially in the farming community where the farm was left to the family and the tax was so great they had to sell the property to pay the tax. Often the family were the workers on the farm and lived on the farm. Consequently they were out of work with no qualifications and no where to live.
I am a lefty but there was good reasons other than this also as to why this tax was eliminated.
