One of my mates is a Muslim, born in Alexandria, Egypt, and a tickle under 70 years of age. He went back to Alexandria a couple of years ago, and couldn't believe the change in dress from when he was a kid, and the amount of cotton that was worn. The whole left thing of trying to support Islam, and looking for an emblem, have come up with coverings. Burkas aren't part of their religion, it's the left that have made it so.
