we need the electoral office to have secure computer records, it is the only way, for one person , one vote...as it is now, you can travel around and vote as many times as you can in as many offices....you can even use the name of a dead person...no worries, there are no checks done
Two ways to stop/reduce voting fraud and dead people voting.
1. Must produce Photo I.D.
Student, drivers licence, passport.
With computers keeping instant record at polling booths.
2. When you vote you dip your thumb into a dye/ink that takes days to wear off like in 3rd World countries.
Too be sure, implement both.
I can't believe that anyone can walk up say a name with no proof required and vote.
Each booth has a paper record only of a vote,and cannot check instantly whether vote has already been cast for that person.
One could go around and vote at another booth or stall and vote again under another name, no questions asked.
