Starburst. The science of the radiative forcing of the greenhouse gasses is well known and well accepted. Humans are pumping billions of tonnes per annum into the atmosphere. Regardless of what is happening within the natural cycle this is going to have an effect eventually. How many volcanoes are we letting of annually through the burning of fossil fuels? We a releasing billions of tonnes of stored energy in a very short period of time. Changes in atmospheric composition has been linked to mass extinctions in the past and there is no reason it would not happen again, we can not control the natural forces but we can control what we do.
