The population issue raises a sad irony. The world population would immediately stabilise were contraception made available to those who wanted it, yet there is utter abjection amongst governments to accord the world's population such a right. Dealing with global warming is an as yet unsolvable problem, yet governments the world over are attempting a political fix.
If only governments would start with the problems that have solutions.
