Past governments have been lethargic in their focus on defence. However, due to the current prevailing international friction, I think we all need to put the acid on the hapless Albanese government, particularly on its refusal to provide adequate defence for our country. Most acknowledge the absolute necessity to rapidly, urgently and sufficiently invest in modern defensive assets. The serious problem Australia faces is Albo's ridiculous intransigence in not stepping up to properly provide enough investment in future budgets for our possible/probable defence requirements in a world obviously experiencing the most dangerous period probably in the last 80 years or so. The current government needs to be held to account for its overspending on many other less important issues than defence and its focus on side issues rather than giving high priority to our country's survival. The defence of the citizens of Australia certainly should be our government's highest priority.

Your knowledge of our Defence arrangements could be written on a postage stamp. The last time you read a White paper it was toilet paper to see if you had blood in your stool. Your cries for more Defence spending coupled with the conservative screaming for conscription to return reek of old man dying.
