i am of a similar view that it may not happen. the current situation is unique. 2006 is of no resemblance to current financial conditions. its like comparing apples with oranges in my humble opinion. 2006 was a bull market for equities. 2008 is a bear market for equities. how can one make a comparison of charts when the backdrop is not the same ? im somewhat confused. I am not saying that i am right because i could well be wrong. What I am saying is that no one knows and we are just rolling the dice. stick to fundamentals. good production profiles, solid earnings, good management and she'll be right. DYOR> IMO.
