Thanks for the link, J. That well-written piece was just about as good a primer on the overall macro dynamics as I have seen. I disagreed with a couple of leaps of logic that she appeared to make, but that's ok.
PS. Bowmo, thanks for your tip re- posting problematic links to other browsers. I thought I'd already done that, but pasting the Bloomberg link in Chrome just now did the trick. (I think I fixated on clearing the cookies and cache in FF, which often works, but didn't this time.)
