I do not see any problems with Wave Hub funding the EU has funded half the project. I do not see either party walking away. The UK would be well aware that other EU countries with existing wave test sites will take up any void if UK or EU were to quit. The project has progressed to far for that.
UK want the export opportunities, EU kneed the power.
France and Portugal both have wave test sites. Finland also has a direct link and excellent waves.
