We have statistics on domestic violence to women for every state. They are huge. Govts have policies to ameliorate the prevalence of this disease. There is cross party support for callling out this evil in our community and the removal of any person found to be guiltyy of this heinous crime. I have been surprised that no political leader called for the removal of Mr J Setka, the national leader of the CFMEU who is pleading guilty to such as crime.
I am gobsmacked bu the ALP. They often and openly profess to be working for the advancement of women in all levels of society and yet the silence around Mr Setka's guilty admission is deafening
At a time when crimes of violence against women are repeatedly in the headlines around the nation, we cannot afford to suggest that harassing women could be acceptable.
