23 Dx collaborations!  Let's break that down, is it 23 products by EOY? No! Simply from what us folk have been told one product can be the end result of many players (collaborators) in the mix.  So who are regarded as Anteo partners.


Going back to the Pitt St Broker Report last year, with a hindsight review. These words were not only a validation on Anteo technology but its partnerships. "One of its partner companies, Ellume, recently secured an agreement with large players – GSK and QIAGEN – for its POC device. The deal has the potential to drive up the volume of testing conducted by Ellume and hence boost the demand of Anteo’s technology. With an enormous near-term opportunity in POC and long-term opportunity in the battery segment, we believe Anteo is headed in the right direction."


"Ellume’s product pipeline related to Influenza, Respiratory Syncytial Virus, group A Streptococcus, and Chlamydia. In December 2018 and January 2019, Ellume announced commercial partnerships with GSK and QIAGEN for respiratory care and TB diagnostic products, respectively"


Now what did Anteo work on in the DMTC MCM project with PI? Well according to Fraser Palamara of The Market Herald "an award-winning handheld device".  As in a "field-deployable Medical Counter Measure diagnostic tool (...that...) assists in protecting the Australian Defence Force from chemical, biological and radiological threats". 


Well done, a successful Halo project in any context, but a Defence Forces' Medical Counter Measure device no less. Uber-Halo!


So what of the new agreement with the Lumos Dx (Planet Innovation ([NPLEX] spin off and now merged with Kestral Dx & RPS)?   It "aims to update the effectiveness in analysing food and water contaminations, ...and... pathogens", as well as HCG too so "detection of pregnancy in handheld devices."

This collaboration looks to build on the DMTC MCM project as in detection of targeted pathogens in tests to lessened error and deliver higher effectiveness.  So fewer mistakes in say home pregnancy tests - or other tests !


77E Well not much known on this partnership, or more importantly their clients. However their focus is on urine testing, so the most likley candidates for AnteoBind application would be their LabStrip U11 Plus (GL) or their PSA Reader Plusz Tesztkazetta (I can't find a EMA CE mark - but why?).  They do have mini lab readers and a smart POC reader. However, UriSed Technology technology can't be eliminated, for example its used for an Irish partner test diagnosis including: G Group B Streptococcus; HG Meningococcus; & HG Pneumo/Meningo Combo.


SONA agreement was for the cTnl, CRP & HCG biomarkers.  So prior to Caronavirus the work specifically revolved around cardiac troponin *heart attack;  C-reactive protein  * sepsis; and Human chorionic gonadotropin * pregnancy tests.  Sona platform tech pivots on Gold Nanorods.


AXXIN: the  announcement revealed the 1st product off the mark a Sepsis POCT on their latest 3rd generation POC and specifically on Europium particles ...... read Merck.  Now this is contingent on Clinical Trials. This agreement was termed as an "end-to-end collaboration". JIMHO folks will announce more on this full ISO 13485 certification is granted. Also it must be noted that SCIENION (Anteo multiplexing and protein microarrays JV) is also fellow collaborator of AXXIN.  The photo of the LFIA page 13 of the Anteo Mar2019 Preso is part of this trilogy.  I also consider that AnteoCoat may likely be involved in Axxin's CD4 T-cell (HIV indicator) test development.

IMRA; Anteo has also stated it's poised to develop its own 40nm i-colloid gold based POCT product range and a JOINT Marketing agreement with IMRA - once ISO 13485 certification is granted, watch this space.  


If the elimination of test contamination interference using the research that went into the DMTC MCM multiplexing advantages can be leveraged across Anteo's collaborations, I can see why the Broker report mentioned blue sky.


So does Anteo only have a handfull of products that have moved beyond R&D and into the commercialsation pipeline? There is no simple answer, but most likely as of this moment.  However, there is a great deal of information that each collaboration will have exponential potential in product range.  Moreover, Anteo has noted there are there 3X the number of collaborations than those named in announcements to date.


Outside of these, there are unknown clients and R&D projects sourcing AnteoBind advantages via AMG kits and Anteo's distribution partners: Kormabiotech; Veritas; Sigma-Aldrich; GenoDX...



NB: Anteo Energy is rapidly expanding with 7 collaborators now. But that's  a whole other subject.
