Our wages are comparable with most developed countries. Lots of people still think it all about making things bit think about where you spend your own money. For me 30% food drink, 15% utilities, insurance and comms, 25% school fees and kids activities, 10% bus and car costs, 8% medical, 12% other. So mostly services, in fact services are 70% of GDP and we are efficient at them. Mining is only 5% of GDP. Services are not as exposed to import pressures.
