I presume that you are now walking or biking to work , have stopped eating any food other than what you have grown yourself, will be buying local clothing using natural fibre, will now be off grid , taking no holidays that involve the use of hydrocarbons and have stopped all contact using technology ...if not you are supporting hydrocarbons...your standard of living, your parents and probably your grandparents has come about because of oil and if it stopped flowing now it would create large amounts starvation and unemployment worldwide...

However we need to ween ourselves off hydrocarbons it's a dirty fuel , but one doesn't need to be silly about it, the world will need oil for a long time like it or not , all of the emerging alternative energy sources involve the use of hydrocarbons during construction and / or during maintainance...

FAR will be my last fossil fuel investment but I certainly have no intentions to sell it based on the above.
