Happy Cats, market professionals undoubtedly have a better understanding of the workings of the market.
I must say that I DON'T know if PEK was given a bot workover in the last few months. Possibly the share price decay was due to fall in REE prices alone.

I tend to buy on FA, so I loose faith when share prices fall after a steady stream of positive announcements.
This seems to be a recurring theme in spec stocks at the moment.
Until now, many people are not convinced that Bots are a good thing. I suspect, some won't return to the market, until they are restricted. In any case, bots will have a lesser impact on heavily traded shares.
Since the GFC, diminished volumes on the ASX, suggest that many investors have already voted with their feet.

Perhaps bots should be banned for the last hour of trading. That way they could provide liquidity without determining the closing price.
