I really struggle with the hypocritical nature of Alan Carpenters view on uranium. On one hand he actively promotes his green credentials and commitment to reducing carbon emissions, when on the other opposes the very tool that has the greatest impact on achieving those objectives. The moral judgement that he intends to impose on all west Australians is a view not shared my many. This could be his down fall as much as the Canal was his opponents in the last election.
