T, you mentioned a point that i missed in the pic.
I seen the temp spikes leading the OLR peaks.
You mention 97/98 el nino matching the OLR trough. That means that the OLR leads el nino or another atmospheric condition that drives el nino? Now that is different again.
And with all due respect i just cannot see how that happens.
Not heading anywhere with this statement. Just that i have a bit more reading to do to understand.
