Yes we have been losers in many ways for years now.
In addition to my employment working for the man I sell my own grown fruit at markets and the like each year, its generally cheaper than the supers and of better quality-flavor.
A chinese lady did show up and offer to do a deal to take the lot for export (usually 1.5-2.2tonnes).
I politely explained to her that I want Australians to enjoy the best quality, my older customers would miss out and I would miss not seeing their happiness at being able to get a superior product at a price thats right.
