Forrestania Project (near Hyden, WA) – Gold & Nickel
o Reverse circulation (RC) drilling is currently in progress testing 8 nickel targets; the programme is expected to be completed during October with interpretation of assays anticipated approximately 8 weeks thereafter
o A geophysical survey (SQUID) has been scheduled for the Quarter to test an existing deep geophysical conductor located in tenement E77/1356, west of known nickel sulphide occurrences at Beautiful Sunday
o A moving loop electromagnetic (MLEM) survey has also been scheduled for the Quarter over potential ultramafic units interpreted to occur within tenement E77/1356. If warranted a SQUID survey will be carried out over any conductors that are identified.
o Eight down-hole electromagnetic (DHEM) surveys have also been scheduled for the Quarter for the RC drill holes currently in progress.
• Jigalong Project (near Newman, WA) – Iron, Uranium & Base Metals
o An interpretation of the 3rd soil sampling programme is anticipated to be made available during the Quarter
o A detailed magnetic interpretation of the northern portion of the project area is also anticipated to be made available during the Quarter
o Discussions with the Jigalong Community Inc’s advisers will continue during the Quarter with a view to finalising legal agreements as soon as practicable
• Queen Victoria Rocks (near Coolgardie, WA) – Nickel & Gold
o A helicopter borne electromagnetic survey (VTEM) has been planned for this Quarter over the QVR magnetic features.
o Plans will be made to conduct lithogeochemical studies at the Spargos and Valliant gold prospects that may assist drill targeting and identification of a source to the previously identified auger and gold anomalous alteration systems identified in the aircore (20 to 100ppm).
• Sunday (near Leonora, WA) - Gold
o An aircore drilling programme (total of 34 vertical aircore holes for approximately 2,230m) is scheduled to commence this month to provide an early indication of the prospectivity of certain tenements
• Appointment of Project Geologist
o Hannans is pleased to advise that Ms Amanda Scott has recently been appointed Project Geologist. Ms Scott has approximately four years exploration experience within Western Australia and is a valuable addition to the Exploration Team.
