I visited Salta late last year. All the locals were most excited about the various car manufacturers setting up there - lots of money around and the local community definitely benefited from their input. Vehicles on the road (sadly not EV's - yet ) were the most expensive, late models I had seen especially compared to Buenos Aires where barely any would pass an MOT.

GXY threads are the best on HC - I can tune in any time of the day and there is always something new, challenging, informative or downright daft. Especially on a day when we are treated with multiple AC/Thesi/Bron messages.
