At the lower end of the quality chain wouldn't WOW being buying almost exclusively from China (esp. electronics)? Looking around Big W there doesn't seem to be much Japanese product on the shelves at all. Assume Woolies is the same.
WOW may well end up with egg on their face from other quarters; I'd tread warily with WOW unless it becomes clear the ACCC is still toothless. If otherwise WOW and WES might have a few problems.
(previously a WOW holder....its still at the same sp as I bought in nearly 2 years ago)
