I can't remember if OE6 can be unstalled from Win98, but if it can, which should roll-back OE to 4.1, do so, and then re-install as Cromag suggested. It sounds like you have a corrupted file or registry for OE. Better still, upgrade to XP if you can afford it( or find a friend) A warning though, some older comps with lower end cpu's e.g under 400mhz (pre late 99) will not load the NT paltform that win2000 and XP is based on. The only way to do this is to ugrade (flash) your bios and if you haven't done that b4 you'll need some expert help.
