Dr Who....Biggest tell tale about requests like that are that they ask for your u/name and password.
Not even Bigpond, Or Banks Or brokers Or Anyone needs to be told your password.
I have had several emails (but not today, Ha Ha ) from my broker etc. warning of such scams and re-iterating that the establishment will NEVER ask for that info via email. If an account is to be frozen/cancelled/suspended, then you will be informed via snail mail on a company letterhead.....But they still will not ask for your p/word or u/name.
