While I agree with your outlook in the long term, you will need to produce some figures to make your case in the short/medium term. O&G might be the next coal in terms of dis-investment, it is hard to see that showing up in a meaningful way in the first half of this decade. Much of the world still needs to industrialize and climate change or not, they are going to do it with the cheapest most available energy source available, just as all the developed countries did in their day. And you cannot blame them for wanting the best for their people. There is the argument that the richer nations should help the poorer one transition to a carbon neutral energy future giving the huge advantage they got from carbon based fuels in the past. I for one would like that to happen but am not holding my breath.
