Oromin boards are all lit up about rumored consolidation of Oromin and MDL properties. All of the Oromin JV partners are meeting this week.

One of the members posted this quote:
"From what I understand, Randgold, Iamgold and Anglo are looking at the acquisition and consolidation of MDL and Oromin. Rand, IAG and Anglo all have projects in the Senegal area and MDL has the plant, Oromin adds more ounces and oxides, so it makes a lot of sense as the major and mid-tier firms need to add more ounces to increase shareholder value."

Oromin's IR director confirmed the above-mentioned meeting. This might explain the big increase in MDL volume. Something is going on...
