mic231----sorry to dissapoint you,but i have been told by Altona that they definately will not be releasing the offer received from Xstrata if they knock it back.This would give too much power to the "next in line" as a starting point for negotiations.It would be in the companies best interest(and shareholders)to keep people guising as to what an offer might be.The only way an offer may be published is if the independent valuer's valuation is made public and at the same time is knocked back by Xstrata---IMO.All that said----i believe we are on a huge winner which ever way it goes----Finland earnings alone are worth more than the current share price-----patience is the key now.
