I'm of the same opinion as Kalm4h. The commodity prices, interest rates and other macro stuff are way too hard to predict accurately enough to make investment money out of it. As famously stated by Peter Lynch "If you spend 13 minutes per year on economics, youve wasted 10 minutes". So it is indeed better to focus on the company and not on the nickel prices.
