This doesn't address the issue at all.
The woman being paid $7,000 for a weekend sleepover of an autistic boy is working within the system. She is just getting public service type wages.
It is the system that is conceptually wrong. A disability carers allowance is about $20,000 a year. NDIS packages are hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. The contrast is far too much.
