    Of course the price will not be the same however depending on the worth and type of contract the company will be somewhat derisked.

    It will give people some idea of valuation and whether or not the price at the time is worth the investment or not.

    You talk about the "trick"..what you are really saying is take the punt which is fine but don't dress it up like it's a fait accompli.
