It's just that I get annoyed when I see announcements of "OUTSTANDING DRILLING RESULTS", when they clearly aren't really outstanding at all.
Landy, I appreciate the inclination, but for sure there are shedloads of zero value dirt to deal with.
Further, it MUST be an open-cut mine, because you don't incline into such poor resource grades. Ever. If it's open-cut, in Saudi Arabia (where they get far more severe earthquakes than in Australia), prudent mining practice will ensure that the slope of the pit walls will be sufficient to withstand earth tremors unheard of in the Australian mining industry (i.e. significantly less vertical).
CGG is one of my juniors on watch, but an announcement like this gives me limited faith. Horses for courses, I guess.
Landy, you would have to admit that average grades of 1.5 - 2 g/t not on the surface are pretty shithouse, wouldn't you? Not that I'd ever suggest that you may have an agenda, of course....
